WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:

As a Java Developer you are responsible for the following:

  • Create, expand, and test client solutions using standards and frameworks as defined by the team.

  • Will work in a team environment efficiently and focus on providing value for the client

  • Create, document, and help utilize the CI/CD strategies to reduce costs while ensuring quality.

  • Complete tasks and communicate progress efficiently.

  • Create high quality deliverables using source control, branching, and merge strategies.

  • Join the development of modernization projects and process automation initiatives.

  • Ability to work well with other development team members and external teams when needed.

  • Use technical problem-solving skills and discuss any hurdles to project completion.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Java software and API development experience, and full life cycle implementation experience using various SDLC methodologies.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or another related field.

  • Previous consulting or client facing experience

  • Experience with various Java frameworks (JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, JUnit, AOP, JPA)

  • Knowledge of Java build tools and dependency management (Gradle, Maven)

  • Experience with containerizing applications is a plus.

  • Must have prior hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, AWS, PostgreSQL, and Front-End Languages (HTML, JavaScript, CSS), Angular, Ember, Vue, Git, Git Flow and multiple web service technologies including XML, JSON, REST, SOAP

  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jasmine and Cucumber

  • Experience with Continuous Integration automation using tools like Jenkins
