Jack Brown's & Daybreak Partner for SpeakUp

Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint and the gang at Daybreak will be partnering up on August 10th to raise money for the Cameron K. Gallagher Memorial Foundation. From 5-8pm, 10% of all proceeds from JBs will be donated to the CKG Memorial Foundation! Additionally, the guys at Daybreak will be stepping in as guest servers and bartenders. We will also be raffling off tickets to the Washington Nationals and a few Apple TVs! All of the money raised from the raffle will be donated to SpeakUp. This is going to be a great event and for a tremendous cause. Please spread the word, share this link, send out carrier pigeons, what ever it takes - BE THERE! Order a delicious burger (my favorite is the Popper), drink a few cold beers, and chat with the CKG team about the work they are doing, including their upcoming signature 5K in Byrd Park on September 12th.
If you don't know much about the CKG Memorial Foundation, I encourage you to visit their website. The organization was started by a local 16-year old girl who knew that teenage depression was a real problem and wanted to do something radical about it. There has not been a podium like this for our children to feel they can have a voice and the necessary support to "SpeakUp" while battling through these emotional challenges. If you are a parent, you can relate to how fragile this time is in their lives and I hope each of you will come out to help support this very important cause. We proudly served as a sponsor to the 5K last year and will do so again on September 12, 2015!
