Partner with other team members within the Application Systems LOB to provide technical solutions that adhere to the organization’s strategic mission

Direct and manage strategic planning and software development, implementation, administration, and maintenance for enterprise systems that focus on Payroll and Incentive and Workforce Management

Opportunity to “touch” multiple lines of business including Payroll, HR, and Legal 


Day to Day

Results-Oriented Strategic Planning

  • Identify and understand team goals 

  • Prioritize objectives while providing a holistic approach to technical recommendations which include ROI, time to market, and scalability


  • Partner with several business groups, stakeholders, peer teams, and key associates

  • Communicate vision to executive management and provide guidance for team to support its implementation 

Team Leadership and Development 

  • Attract, recruit, retain, and mentor a strong team of skilled and engaged associated who are aligned with the strategic mission 

  • Create clear and concise expectations for associates to develop their full potential. Act as a leader by coaching team members, providing advice, feedback, training, and advocacy 


  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the latest industry trends 

  • Craft a technology plan for each business group based on understanding of current business needs and their direction  

Qualifications – The Experience 

  • BS/BA degree (IT/relevant preferred) 

  • 7+ years in IT with 5+ years of application systems development and implementation experience 

  • 3+ years managing direct reports

  • 3+ years leading software projects leveraging Agile practices

  • 3+ years with Payroll/Incentive Mgmt. Systems and/or Kronos Workforce Mgmt. (preferred, not required)

  • Comfortable and confident in speaking to large groups of people
