The Senior Kronos Analyst is responsible for the performance and reliability of the Kronos Workforce Central System, In-touch terminals and Workforce Integration Management(WIM) interface files, as well as other new components. The responsibilities of this role will encompass all lifecycle phases including implementation, planning for upgrades and new modules, configuration setup and testing, security management, and deployment. The person in this role will provide daily operational support and training for users. 

Key areas of focus include:

  • Maintaining positive relationships with business area subject matter experts through exceptional teamwork and communication.

  • Providing sound solutions to complex business problems surrounding the client’s Kronos implementation.

  • Leading and participating in the design, configuration and testing of projects related to Kronos.

  • Monitoring and managing data extracts and other integrations from Kronos to other environments through batch processing or real-time APIs.  Developing WIM interfaces is a nice-to-have, but not required.


  • Be a subject matter expert for the client’s Kronos implementation, responsible for the design and configuration of Kronos as well as troubleshooting and effective communication to internal/external customers and vendors.

  • Responsible for recommending and implementing solutions to business customer concerns by leveraging experience and knowledge of Kronos administration.

  • Be a key resource for the organization as it relates to the administration of Kronos.

  • Provide production support of the client’s Kronos implementation.

  • Assist in the development and creation of training and communication tools related to the use of the client’s Kronos implementation.  Some of these tools include but may not be limited to store communications, job aides, knowledge base articles and presentations that support the continued education efforts in our stores.

  • Understand latest industry trends and their potential impact for the client

  • Developing and configuring Labor Standards, Forecast Limits and Forecast Maps for Advanced Scheduling

  • Configure and manage Attendance Profile and Attendance Policies

  • Kronos Security

  • Configuring and managing pay rules and work rules

  • Developing and configuring WIM interfaces

  • Developing, managing and troubleshooting SQL

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred or equivalent work experience

  • 4 + years of relevant experience in the administration of enterprise wide Kronos preferred

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving skills

  • Computer skills: Proficiency in SQL query language required

  • Experience with configuring Kronos on-premises and cloud

  • Communicate in a clear and open manner through verbal, written, and non-verbal methods, to all levels of the organization

  • Summarize or present complex and/or technical information into easy-to-understand pieces

  • Identify and analyze problems and subsequently generates and evaluates alternative solutions to make recommendations to the business

  • Create, read, and comprehend basic business reports and analyses
